From Cork

  • From the city, follow the signs for Bandon, West Cork. The road number you’re looking for is N71
  • Drive through Innishannon
  • Upon entering Bandon, take the first exit of the roundabout, bypassing the town.
  • Follow the directions for Clonakilty/Skibbereen.
  • Upon entering Clonakilty, take the second exit of the roundabout, bypassing the town.
  • Continue on the N71, passing through Rosscarbery and Leap.
  • Upon entering Skibbereen, take the first exit off the roundabout, entering the town.
  • Continue down Market street, until you come to the next roundabout.
  • A this roundabout, take the second exit for Baltimore.
  • Approximate time: 1 hour 30 mins

  • Upon arrival at Baltimore, take the ferry to the island (foot passenger ferry only).
